While the first half of this post is naughty and not so nice, I'd like to devote this half to expressing thanks. To the readers of this blog, my customers, friends and family, THANK YOU for your support in 2012. It is because of you that I can look beyond life's pitfalls and truly count my blessings. ReplyDeleteI am sorry that 2012 or at least the 2nd half hasn't been great. It's good that you are confronting the downs with optimism because hard as it is to believe sometimes, there really is light at the end of the tunnel, often so bright that it is blinding!!! Trust me I know, mine came after 10 years!!! Ho hum-dee-dum!
So I say treat it like you do your minis, have a "kick arse" attitude! heh heh . Pun intended because there's no fun like fun kicking all the bad luck and bad things and bad half of the year in its arse and sent it spinning out of your orbit!

Alison, I can relate. I haven't had the easiest life, and for the past few years in particular, everything that could possibly go wrong not only did...it all went VERY wrong.
ReplyDeleteI've long sought solace in miniatures, though I have no talent for making them myself. My dollhouse is a perfect little world of its own - my troubles cease to exist for as long as I work on or admire it.
I'm glad to see you're making minis again (such pretty little cherries!), and hope things get better for you soon.
